At the westbound view of the hotel there is the river Mylaon and its canyon creek. There you can see the Monastery of Kernitsa. From there, following a stunning route through the forest, you can reach the monastery’s little hermitage, Sfyrida, which is built inside a rock’s cavity.
A lush green place, abundant for hunting birds and wild boars, with beautiful and interesting hiking routes. Many of them are marked with the E4 trail signs. Following the trail, you will reach the stone-arched bridge “Zarzi”, near the river’s water source. 500 meters off the hotel, you can find the spring named “Nymfasia”, alternatively named “spring of Pausanias”, as it was mentioned by the famous ancient Greek explorer in his writings of the region of Arcadia. According to Greek mythology, Nymfasia spring was where the Nymphs were under the watchful eye of the ancient god of fertility of the herds, Pan.
